Robotito is an introductory robotics course for children from 8 to 10 years old that seeks to encourage in a playful way the approach to technology and, specifically, to robotic systems. It is a free activity through which boys and girls take their first steps in programming and logical thinking by solving ingenious challenges with computers and robots. They are instructed in basic programming so that they can feel that they are the generators of the movement of the robots, and not simply users of them. The activity consists of four classes in which they work in mixed teams to perform different exercises and challenges to control the mBot robots. It takes place on Saturdays and is run by ITBA students and volunteer teachers.
