The UPC School Agenda is an initiative aimed at addressing the underrepresentation of female role models in engineering. The program seeks to make visible the contributions of current female figures in this field, including both students and researchers.
The Llunna Edicions publishing house offers different models of diaries to public primary schools every year, the UPC diary being one of them. The UPC is responsible only for providing photographs and brief biographies of its students and researchers. The diary is distributed to schools each year, where it serves as a daily reminder to students of the achievements of women in science and engineering. It also provides inspiration by showcasing the significant roles played by women in these fields.
This initiative promotes gender equality in STEM by highlighting female role models in engineering, motivating the next generation of students to pursue careers in these traditionally male-dominated fields.
