Description

The Career Technical Center, established in 2010, prepares students for the professional world by developing skills, expanding networks and increasing labor market awareness. It offers year-round activities to support the transition to their careers. The center focuses on three key areas:

Skills Development

  • Professional Training Workshops: Delivered by industry professionals, they cover CV building, LinkedIn, interviewing and communication.
  • Internships: Summer opportunities for students through a job bank.

Labor Market Awareness

  • Alumni Talks: Informal events where students connect with alumni to explore career paths in areas such as entrepreneurship and consulting.
  • Alumni mentoring: Annual program that matches students with alumni for career guidance.
  • Sessions with companies: Meetings and presentations on corporate culture and recruitment.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation

  • European Innovation Academy: Global program in which Técnico sponsors 11 students each year.
  • Awards@Técnico: Recognition of the best student projects in innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • TecInnov Competition: Academic support to develop innovative ideas.
