Escolab is a program launched in 2007 as an initiative of the Barcelona City Council, in collaboration with several research centers. Its objective is to offer free scientific activities for high school students, allowing them to explore the various research fields and laboratories in Catalonia (Spain).
From October to June, during the school year, Escolab organizes more than 100 activities that give students the opportunity to interact directly with the scientific community. These activities include:
This initiative seeks to arouse curiosity in students and offer them a first-hand view of the wide variety of study opportunities available in the Catalan region.
