The VEX Robotics Social Plan is an initiative aimed at introducing high school students at risk of social exclusion to the world of robotics. The plan offers support and mentoring to these students, who participate in VEX Robotics competitions. It aims to raise awareness and attract young people to the STEM field, especially robotics, by providing them with resources and guidance.
The program collaborates with social organizations, high schools and training centers, offering materials and mentoring by university students. The mentors guide the students through the program, preparing them for the VEX competition held at the university. The purpose is to empower young people at risk of exclusion by providing them with the opportunity to engage in hands-on, team-based learning, fostering both technical skills and collaborative work.
This initiative not only provides technical training, but also emotional and social support, offering students the opportunity to strengthen their self-esteem and discover new educational opportunities.
