Mathematics Exercise Program (PEM) is a set of face-to-face sessions, in the second semester of the school year, where M2 exercises related to college algebra and calculus are presented, which are 2 of the courses with the highest percentage of failure in the first semester of UC Engineering. Aimed at 4th year high school students with grades equal to or higher than 6.3 (on a scale of 7) and who are being educated in establishments with some level of public funding. The objective is to develop self-efficacy in mathematical reasoning that leads to an Enablement to enter Engineering through a score above the cut-off in the Chilean university admission test.
