Hands On STEM Workshops is a face-to-face initiative aimed at high school students and graduates interested in careers related to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). These workshops, held quarterly on campus, seek to foster the curiosity and creativity of participants by allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in practical, real-life situations. Each session, lasting three hours, is designed to provide an immersive experience in different disciplines, including Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Electronics and Communications Engineering, among others. The methodology employed promotes active learning, allowing students to experience and develop key skills for their academic and professional training. To ensure greater dissemination and impact, the program relies on digital communication strategies, such as interactive publications on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp), sending personalized emails, live chat tools and segmentation of messages according to the interest of each student. Through this initiative, INTEC seeks to attract and engage future talent in the STEM world, providing them with opportunities for exploration and learning in a dynamic and innovative environment.
