The Universidad de Chile organizes guided tours for high school students in order to bridge the gap between school students and the university world. These visits include informative talks and question rounds, followed by tours of university facilities, with special emphasis on laboratories and other key areas of the university.
The visits can be face-to-face or virtual, and take place approximately 15 times a month throughout the year. This program aims to make students aware of university life and the different academic opportunities. Participation in these activities is available both in the Metropolitan region and in other cities in Chile.
Communication about these visits is done through the website, social networks and direct contact with schools.
