The KTH Equality Office is a central coordinating function at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), designed to promote gender equality, diversity and a level playing field throughout the university. The office works on two main missions: first, to actively combat discrimination both as an employer and as an educational institution; and second, to integrate gender equality into decision-making processes and routine work operations within the university. The office facilitates proactive, research-based efforts aimed at creating a more inclusive and equitable environment at KTH, guided by legal requirements and institutional guidelines. The work of the Office of Equality spans strategic and practical levels and focuses on advancing gender equality and diversity through an intersectional lens.
